I joined Sam Rogers to talk about what happened when I checked my own automated security stack and found that most of it had stopped working without telling me. We discussed how to know what’s actually running, how to give agents clear boundaries, and where to start with the Daily Patch Loop.
Three things to take into your own environment
- Inventory what you run. Start with the AI tools, local systems, apps, repositories, and web services you actually depend on. A check cannot cover something it does not know exists.
- Make missed checks visible. A quiet system is not proof that a check succeeded. Make it clear when a scheduled review did not run, failed, or could not inspect part of your environment.
- Start report-only before changes. Have your agent surface findings and proposed fixes first. Define its boundaries and the actions that need your approval before allowing it to make changes.
Put it into practice
Start with the Daily Patch Loop prompt, then read Take Control of Your AI Stack’s Security Posture for the approach behind it.
