Tim McAllister is Field CTO (Regional) at DigiCert, where he leads technical go-to-market strategy for device identity, PKI infrastructure, and emerging trust technologies.

His career spans the full arc of PKI, from early certificate authorities through today's post-quantum transition. That depth of experience translates into a practical understanding of how trust infrastructure works at scale, across industries from automotive and healthcare to energy and manufacturing.

Before DigiCert, Tim led technical strategy at Mocana, a device security company that DigiCert acquired in 2022. The acquisition brought together Mocana's embedded security expertise with DigiCert's certificate management platform, creating the foundation for what is now the Device Trust product line.

Tim is an active contributor to industry standards, participating in NIST post-quantum cryptography initiatives, SAE EVPKI (Electric Vehicle PKI), the Matter smart home standard (PAA), and CharIN (electric vehicle charging infrastructure). These roles keep him at the intersection of where policy, technology, and market requirements converge.

On the go-to-market side, Tim has pioneered the use of AI-augmented workflows for enterprise sales, building systems that combine structured AI agents with deep domain expertise to identify, qualify, and advance complex deals.
